We offer instructional dance class packages where you will work on technique and learn exciting choreography. You do not need any dance experience to sign up!


No cold water in War Memorial Gym Jan. 20-23

 

 

Now that we have renovated the War Memorial Gym pool, the process of filling the pool back up with water has begun. Due to this, there is a large possibility that there will be no cold water in War Memorial Hall January 20 through the morning of January 23. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back for updates on the offical re-opening date for the War Memorial Gym pool.


Free EKG heart screenings

The best way to detect heart conditions is through a heart screening using an EKG (Electrocardiogram). On Saturday, Jan 24 from 9am-3pm, get a free and painless EKG screening to be aware of your heart health!


Free Week of Fitness Tues. 1/20 - Mon. 1/26

Student Health & Wellness Fair

Stop by the first Student Health and Wellness Fair in McComas Hall on Friday Jan. 23 between 11am and 3pm. Participate in screenings, workouts, and even discover some things about your health and wellness that you didn’t already know!

Intramural Volleyball Champ Night

Come watch the intramural volleyball teams compete for the championship title! While you're watching, compete in the Rec Sports contests between games for free food, gift cards, and many fun prizes!


War Memorial Hall pool closing for renovations

Recreational Sports will be removing the diving platform for safety reasons as well as performing other maintenance at the pool in War Memorial Hall. To make these changes, we will need to close the pool from Nov. 21 (closing at 1 p.m.) until Feb. 2. We know this will be an inconvenience to your workout schedule, but we are hoping you will find our alternate accommodations pleasing.


Join in Maintain, Don't Gain campaign over holidays

Hokie Wellness and Recreational Sports can help you embrace the fun of the season without packing on extra pounds! If you want to improve your physical and mental health and well-being, Maintain, Don't Gain can help you set and achieve meaningful goals. The program runs November 17 through January 9.
