About Women's Soccer Club
The Virginia Tech Women's Soccer Club was established in 1983 with the goal of providing all students the opportunity to play and learn soccer. The club competes against teams along the East Coast. The playing season is primarily in the fall semester with practice five days a week and games on weekends. Membership is open to all that are interested in playing soccer. The club enjoys improving their skills in the exciting game of soccer. In 1997, the club competed in the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) National Tournament and earned the Open Division Championship.
