About Snow Ski Club
The Virginia Tech Snow Ski Club has been an active club since 1981. The club is coed and has a men's and women's Alpine Ski Racing Team that competes in the Southeastern Collegiate Ski Conference. There is an A team and B team to give everyone an opportunity to compete. The club does dry-land training from October until December. This consists of running, stadium steps, soccer, ultimate frisbee, football, and exercise drills. The Ski Club has on-trial workouts at Winterplace Ski Resort, in Beckley, WV. They compete in various locations in West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina during the regular season.
