About Men's Tennis Club
The Men's Tennis Club joined the Recreational Sports department in 2004, though it was established in 2000. The club is extremely competitive on a regional and national scale, as the finalists in the 2007 Battle of the Sections in Flushing Meadows, NYC and Sectionals in Charlottesville while winning the Copper Bracket in the 2008 Campus National Championship. The team finished the season ranked 14th in the country by collegeclubtennis.com. The club practices five days a week and plays in both dual matches all along the East Coast and tournaments all over the Mid-Atlantic sections on weekends. The team competes in both the fall and spring seasons, with tryouts taking place every fall.
