About Triathlon Club
The Virginia Tech Triathlon Club has been a registered student organization since 1999 and was accepted into the VT Extramural Sport Club Federation in the spring of 2001. The goal of the club founders was to create an organization that would provide recreation for student-athletes with a desire to learn the sport of triathlon. The club has not limited itself to strictly triathlons; many members also compete in other multi-sport and/or endurance races such as duathlons, marathons and ultra marathons. The club competes in intercollegiate events on regional and national levels. There are currently over 60 members of all abilities, ranging from first time racers to seasoned triathletes. The club is open to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled as a student at Virginia Tech. Feel free to contact an officer or stop by a weekly meeting and check us out!
