About Women's Volleyball Club
The Women's Volleyball Club competes in the United States Volleyball Association Old Dominion Region and the Carolina Women's Collegiate Volleyball League. In January of 1999, the club split from the Men's Volleyball Club to form their own organization. The Women's Volleyball Club has two teams, orange and maroon, that both travel to tournaments in addition to competing in the tournament we host annually. In April 2006 the orange team traveled to the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association club volleyball championships which were held in Salt Lake City, Utah. The orange team will also travel to Kentucky at the end of next year's spring season for the 2007 NIRSA club volleyball championships.
