Packages:
Basic Fitness Assessment ONLY $15
Includes evaluation of resting heart rate and blood pressure, a sub maximal cycle test, body composition, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility.
Body Composition ONLY $5
Determines the ratio of lean body mass to fat mass using skin fold techniques. This test is included in the basic fitness assessment and is available separately.
Cancellation Policy
There is no penalty for cancellations that are made at least 24 hours in advance. Please call 231-6856 to cancel your appointment. Failure to show up to a scheduled appointment or tardiness of 10 minutes or more will result in forfeiture of one appointment or session.
What is the purpose of a fitness assessment?
- Provides information about your current fitness level and allows you to compare this to norms and standards of people of the same age and gender.
- Allows you to develop an exercise program to fit your needs specifically based off of the results.
- Motivates you to stick with the training regimen and retest to see your progress.
- May identify any health problems that could manifest during exercise.

- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for exercising.
- Drink plenty of fluids over the 24-hour period preceding the test to ensure good hydration.
- Avoid food, tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine for at least 3 hours before testing.
- Avoid exercise or strenuous physical activity the day of the test.
- Get an adequate amount of sleep (6 to 8 hours) the night before the test.
