Captains Meeting Information
- Individual/Dual Sports Activities (I.E. Tennis, Golf, Racquetball, etc) DO NOT have mandatory meetings unless otherwise listed below.
- All participants in these types of activities will receive an email with further instruction for participation on the Monday after registration has closed
- If you have further questions concerning Individual/Dual Activities please email imsports@vt.edu or call 231-8297.
- ALL TEAMS are required to have one representative present at the pre-season captains meeting.
- Failure to have a representative at this meeting will result in that team being dropped from the schedule as well as forfeiture of their team registration fee. A team that fails to show for a team captains meeting will have until the following business day at 5:00pm (unless otherwise notified) to pay a team reinstatement fee at the Intramural Sports Office and will then be given a choice of the remaining available league times. If there are no available league spots reminaing then that team will be placed on the bottom of the waiting list. After the 24 hour deadline has passed the team will be permanently removed from the league/tournament without further option for participation.
- All INDIVIDUALS needing a team and all WAITING LIST TEAMS are also required to have a representative at the captains meeting.
