Ben first came to Virginia Tech in 1999. He graduated from VT in 2003 with a degree in Information Technology and completed his master’s in 2007 in Business Administration. While completing his master’s, Ben worked as an intramural sports graduate assistant for VT Recreational Sports. He has been a member of the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and the Virginia Recreational Sports Association (VRSA) since 2001. Ben has a great deal of experience as an official in many different sports. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer, enjoys bowling, and watching any sporting event.
