Jennifer joined the department in the summer of 1996 and is a certified recreational sports specialist (CRSS) as well as a graduate of Level 1 NIRSA Recreational Sports Management School. Jennifer received her bachelor degree of science in Business Admininstration and Marketing from The University of Nebraska and her master's degree in Sports Management from The Ohio State University where she served as a graduate assistant. Jennifer is an active NCAA Division I Women's basketball official and a USA Certified basketball official. She is also American Red Cross CPR/AED/FA/BBP certified. Jennifer is currently a member of the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and the Virginia Recreational Sports Association (VRSA). Special interests include: spending time with her family - husband Matt and sons Tyler and Calvin, playing golf, attending or watching almost any sporting event, scrapbooking, and working on home improvement projects.
