      • Join a Happiness Group

        Our Happiness Groups are practical and empowering programs based on the book “The How of Happiness: A New Approach to Getting the Life You Want” by Sonja Lyubomirsky. The concepts in this book are based on years of groundbreaking scientific research about what does and does not make people truly (and sustainably) happy. From this research, Lyubomirsky has identified 12 behaviors that happier people do.

      • Body Image

        The purpose of HEART (Healthy Eating Assessment & Referral Team) is to provide high quality, interdisciplinary, coordinated assessment and referral services. HEART is comprised of licensed health care providers and counselors from Cook Counseling Center, Schiffert Health Center, and Recreational Sports.

      • Cooking Classes

        Come enjoy the hands-on experience of preparing easy, nutritious meals for yourself! Participants will improve their cooking skills, learn new techniques, and develop healthy cooking and eating strategies – all in a fun, social environment. All classes are only $5 – this includes a meal and recipe booklet – and take place in Wallace 405. Sign up is required – space is limited, so sign up early.

      • Wellness Workshops

        We offer a variety of wellness workshops aimed at giving you the knowledge you need to live a healthy lifestyle. Workshops are available for your organization, program, or class and can be adapted as needed.

      • Wellness Consultatioins

        Wellness consultations (health coaching) is available to empower you to make lasting health behavior changes that will influence lifelong well-being.

      • Health + Safety

        Recreational Sports is committed to offering health and safety class to students, faculty, staff, and community members throughout the year. We offer lay responder, lifeguarding, and instructor level classes.
