Come enjoy the hands-on experience of preparing easy, nutritious meals for yourself! Recreational Sports and Hokie Wellness are teaming up to offer cooking classes for both employees and students. Participants will improve their cooking skills, learn new techniques, and develop healthy cooking and eating strategies – all in a fun, social environment. Class pricing ranges from $5-10 based on the number of recipes being prepared- this includes a meal and recipe booklet- and take place in Wallace 405. Sign up is required – space is limited, so sign up early.

Superbowl Snacks
Make a touchdown this year with your friends and bring the best superbowl snack of the year!

You Pick Two: Soup, Salad, or Sandwich
Join us in learning a few Panera-like recipes you can make for cheaper, and healthier, in your home kitchen. (**Disclaimer: You don't have to only choose two items!)

Taco Fiesta
Beef, chicken, and vegetarian!  There are so many ways to spice up tacos and boost your culinary creativity in this cooking class.  We will make several types of tacos that you can whip up quickly for lunch or dinner during a busy week, or make to impress your friends for dinner.

Fixer Upper: Leftover Edition
Sick of eating the same thing over and over?  Or have too many leftovers you just can't bear to finish?  Join us and learn how to spice up leftovers and create a whole new meal you'll be gauranteed to enjoy.

Private Cooking Classes
Private cooking classes are ideal for student organizations, Residence Hall programs, or any other group. Our wellness instructors will provide a fun and informative program for your group, with a variety of menus to choose from. Please allow at least a two-week notice when scheduling.
