Come enjoy the hands-on experience of preparing easy, nutritious meals for yourself! Recreational Sports and Hokie Wellness are teaming up to offer cooking classes for both employees and students. Participants will improve their cooking skills, learn new techniques, and develop healthy cooking and eating strategies – all in a fun, social environment. Class pricing ranges from $5-10 based on the number of recipes being prepared- this includes a meal and recipe booklet- and take place in Wallace 405. Sign up is required – space is limited, so sign up early.

Pizza Takeover
Join us and learn how to put a new, healthier spin on an old favorite. This class will prove it is possible to please your palate and take care of those comfort-food cravings without sacrificing nutrition!

Come spice things up by learning some multicultural recipes! We will experiment with different flavors as we learn some recipes from around the world.

I Can't Believe It's Vegan
Discover recipes so good that you will not miss the meat, cheese, dairy or other animal products. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, or anything else, you are sure to enjoy these delicious dishes.

Private Cooking Classes
Private cooking classes are ideal for student organizations, Residence Hall programs, or any other group. Our wellness instructors will provide a fun and informative program for your group, with a variety of menus to choose from. Please allow at least a two-week notice when scheduling.
