VT Sport Clubs Athletic Training
The Virginia Tech Sport Clubs Sport Medicine Department (VTSC SMD) strives to provide comprehensive healthcare for the overall well-being of every student athlete participating in Virginia Tech Sport Clubs. We serve this patient population in the areas of education, injury prevention, injury evaluation and management, and rehabilitation. Our purpose is to support the student athlete’s quality of life during their athletic career and beyond. The VTSC SMD is committed to delivering professional, quality healthcare by incorporating a patient-centered approach and using recognized best practices.

McComas Room 143- Located on the first floor of the Recreational Sports Administrative Offices.
Sport Club Fieldhouse- Located at Upper SRA Fields

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: Noon - 3:00 p.m. by appointment only.
Practice Coverage Hours (Sport Club Fieldhouse)
Monday- Friday: 5:00-8:30pm
SportsWare Student-Athlete Registration
The Virginia Tech Sport Club's Sports Medicine Department uses an online software called Sportsware to track injury documentation. All Club Sports athletes must create a student-athlete profile online at www.swol123.net.

It is vital that all information provided on the SportsWare database is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Should you have any issues or questions while completing your student athlete profile, please contact the athletic trainer via e-mail for assistance at bhawkins@academicprimarycare.com.
Appointment Scheduling
To schedule an appointment with the Sport Club Athletic Trainer please use the appropriate link below. If this is your first time seeing the Sport Club Athletic Trainer about an injury then complete the "Initial Evaluation" link. If your current injury has already been evaluated by the Sport Club Athletic Trainer complete the "Rehab Appointment" link. The Sport Club Athletic Trainer's appointments are to be used only by Sport Club Athletes. If you are not a Sport Club Athlete you will not be evaluated, and are asked to please visit Schiffert Health Center.
