Pilates Reformer

Pilates Reformer
The Pilates Reformer is a versatile and dynamic piece of equipment originally designed by Joseph Pilates to support, challenge, and enhance the Pilates experience. Its unique design includes a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, foot bar, straps, and pulleys, all of which allow for smooth, controlled movement that can be customized to suit any body, fitness level, or goal. Whether you're lying down, standing, kneeling, or balancing on one leg, the Reformer provides the resistance and support needed to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and enhance alignment.
What makes the Reformer stand out is its ability to be both assistive and resistive, helping beginners perform exercises correctly while also offering advanced users a challenging, full-body workout. With options to adjust spring tension and change body position, it supports spinal health, improves core engagement, and promotes better movement patterns. The Reformer’s intuitive feedback and endless variety make it a fun, effective tool for building strength, coordination, and mobility, all while keeping workouts fresh and engaging.
All classes are held in Studio 122 in War Memorial Hall.
